Bringing a new goalkeeper to Elland Road this summer is high on Leeds United’ agenda, as their plans for the 2018/19 campaign unfold.

Reports from the Yorkshire Evening Post today have confirmed Leeds’ interest in Angus Gunn, but another player they are aware is available, is David Stockdale.

Stockdale has reportedly been told he can leave Birmingham City this summer, despite featuring regularly under Garry Monk and helping the Blues survive relegation.

Stockdale was at Elland Road on Saturday evening for Josh Warrington’s world title fight with Lee Selby.

The 32-year-old took to social media following the fight to reveal he was in attendance alongside Ian Harte, who played for Leeds during the early stage of his professional career.

Following Stockdale’s tweet, there was plenty of reaction from Leeds’ supporters, with many calling for the Birmingham City goalkeeper to sign for the Whites.

Here is the best of the reaction…
