Leeds United's summer is set to be an exciting one as Marcelo Bielsa looks to build on an impressive campaign last time out.

Despite the disappointment of missing out on promotion to the Premier League, the Whites will be hopeful of putting together another good run next season and once again being in the mix for the top two.

However, to do so, the club are going to need to ensure they not only bring players in, but keep hold of some of their better players with preying eyes bound to be looking at Elland Road and it's key players.

One of the players who has emerged as someone who could be on his way this summer is midfielder Adam Forshaw, who, according to the Daily Mail, is being eyed up for a summer move by fellow Championship club Fulham.

Forshaw has at times flattered to decieve in a Leeds shirt, but he is still a player who seems to be valued by Marcelo Bielsa, so his loss might well be felt in West Yorkshire.

However, just how big of a loss might he be for Leeds, and would he actually be missed at Elland Road?

We asked our writers here at FootballLeagueWorld for their thoughts on his value to Leeds...

Chris Gallagher

"He wouldn't be missed.
"Forshaw is perhaps underappreciated by the supporters as he is a good player but Leeds have good options in midfield.
"So, if a decent fee does come in then they would be wise in accepting it and reinvesting the money elsewhere which could benefit the team.
"Of course, if Kalvin Phillips leaves then keeping Forshaw has to be a priority, so it will be interesting to see what happens."

Jacob Potter

"This wouldn't be the end of the world.
"Forshaw doesn't really seem to suit Bielsa's style of play and it could be the best move for both parties involved if he was to leave Leeds.
"Leeds could use his wages elsewhere, as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of their promotion bid next season."

Lee Connor

"I've got to admit, I think Leeds can afford to let Forshaw go and bring in someone else in his place.

"He's not exactly pulled up any tress at Elland Road and if is sold on, I can see Leeds going out and bringing in someone who can comfortably do the job Forshaw does.

"Judging by a lot of Leeds fan reactions last season too, I don't think he's exactly the most loved player at Elland Road.

"No big loss for me here to be honest."
