Bitter Midlands rivals Birmingham City and Aston Villa are going through different seasons so far, with the Villans sitting in seventh, and the Blues in 21st spot.

Both teams possess some excellent talent, and we at FLW want to see which players would get into each-others squad.

First, we'll concentrate on Birmingham's exciting young striker Che Adams, would he get into Aston Villa's starting eleven?

The writers here at FLW have their say.....

Chris Gallagher

You'd have to say yes.

Che Adams is going to be a very good player. He's quick, strong and scores goals. Harry Redknapp claimed the board rejected a £10m bid for him on deadline day, which shows how he is regarded in the game.

When the sides meet at the end of the month, make no mistake, Villa will be very wary of the quality Adams possesses and he will be Blues' chief threat.

George Dagless

He's certainly at Villa level.

Whether or not he'd walk into the side is up for debate but I do think he'd be a pretty regular presence in the side - especially given Villa's need for another attacker.

He's got the potential to be a Premier League player - as do many of Villa's stars - and I think he'd be a key member of the squad, if not the first name on the team-sheet.

On paper, Villa’s squad is so much stronger than Birmingham’s, but he would walk into Villa’s starting XI.

Despite struggling with injury during the early stage of this season, the forward has looked electric when he has played, making a real difference to Birmingham.

The thought of Adams and Jonathan Kodjia in attack is frightening. Just imagine.
