Lincoln City's exciting Portuguese winger Bruno Andrade has been linked with a summer move to League One play-off hopefuls Portsmouth, as reported by Lincolnshire Live.

Andrade joined Danny Cowley's side from Boreham Wood in the summer, fresh from helping them to a National League play-off final.

He quickly settled into league football and bagged ten times as the Imps pushed on towards the League Two title.

Often playing on the left side of attack, Andrade showed flair and creativity on a regular basis and was always likely to catch the eye.

He's no stranger to Kenny Jackett either, he trained with them for a short while whilst at Boreham Wood, but they chose not to follow up that interest. They're now likely to pay a hefty price for his services, should they choose to pursue a move.

Aston Villa are also thought to be in the hunt and that's just two clubs currently named. It's a big ask for Pompey to bag him if they're up against Championship clubs, especially if they fail to beat Sunderland tomorrow night.

If they remain in League One it wouldn't make for a huge step up for the 25-year-old, but would it be a good move anyway?

Our FLW panel discuss.

Gary Hutchinson

"Andrade would be a great signing for Portsmouth. He's perfect for their approach.

"He would fit right in with their 4-2-3-1 on the left of the three, but would it be opening the door for Jamal Lowe to go?

"Kenny Jackett has seen Andrade up close and now he's proven his quality in the EFL, a move would seem viable."

George Brooks

"Potentially. Andrade has been out on the stand-out players for Lincoln this season and could be a decent signing for Portsmouth.

"I think a lot of it depends on whether Pompey win promotion to the Championship, if they fail to win the play-offs, Andrade could be a good player for them in League One next season.

"I'm sure Danny Cowley will be reluctant to lose one of his best players, but Andrade may be tempted by a move to Portsmouth."

Jacob Potter

"This is the ideal destination for him.

"Andrade has real quality about him, and would be more than deserving of a move to League One and potentially the Championship with Pompey.

"He's exactly the sort of player that Kenny Jackett should be looking at signing in the summer."
