Out of all the signings Birmingham City have made this season, Ivan Sunjic has definitely been the most high-profile of the lot.

The Croatian arrived at St. Andrew's from Dinamo Zagreb in July, completing a move to the West Midlands for a reported fee of £6.3m on a huge five-year deal.

The midfielder featured in the Europa League on eight occasions last term and caught the eye after playing 57 times for Croatia's youth team, and big things were certainly expected of him.

The 23-year-old has since become a key player for Blues under Pep Clotet this season, featuring 39 times and producing a string of impressive performances in the heart of their midfield.

Ultimately, the aim for Sunjic will play for him to improve as a player whilst playing for Birmingham, and helping the club improve on the pitch and get them fighting back in the Premier League again.
