‘He would do ok’ – Pepe Mel question has these West Brom fans divided

West Bromwich Albion have made a very promising start to the season under Slaven Bilic and are currently two points clear at the top of the Sky Bet Championship table.
Bilic took charge at West Brom in the summer and brought in several new players, with the aim of building a team capable of winning automatic promotion.
There’s still a long way to go in the promotion race, but it’s been a case of so far so good for the Baggies.
Albion are currently two points clear at the top of the Championship table, are the top scorers in the division and have lost just once in the league all season.
So many of Bilic’s signings have been able to make an impact. The likes of Matheus Pereira, Grady Diangana and Romaine Sawyers have all been outstanding.
Bilic has also been able to get the best out of the players who were already at the club when he took over. The likes of defender Kyle Bartley and striker Hal Robson-Kanu have been excellent.
Baggies HQ asked Albion supporters on Twitter where they think the team would finish in the Championship this season if former West Brom manager Pepe Mel was in charge of the current team.
Mel was the West Brom manager in 2014 but he was sacked by the club after only four months at the helm, after winning three of his 17 matches in charge.

Plenty of West Brom fans were quick to respond to the question on Twitter. Here is a look at some of the best comments from Baggies supporters…
Promotion easily good manager proven record just didn't have his own players not going too complain about bilic though the players he will attract when we get promoted can't wait

Top 6. Language barrier was a huge problem for him unfortunately & the team he had didn’t fit the style of play
