Nottingham Forest have made a very promising start to the season under Sabri Lamouchi and are currently fourth in the Sky Bet Championship table.
The Reds missed out on the play-offs under Martin O’Neill last season, but their start to the campaign under the Frenchman has given fans at the City Ground plenty of reasons to feel optimistic about their chances of returning to the Premier League.
Lamouchi brought in several new players during the summer transfer window, but many Forest fans still feel that he will need to sign another striker in January if the Reds are to maintain their promotion push.
Lewis Grabban has scored eight goals for Forest this season, but many fans feel that the Reds need to sign another forward to take some of the pressure off their top scorer and to provide backup in case he gets injured.
Plenty of Forest fans have taken to social media to discuss who the club should be targeting in January and one Reds supporter on Facebook suggested that the club could possibly sign former Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony – who is currently a free agent.
A Forest supporter wrote on Facebook: “Wilfried Bony on a free… Worth a punt, or is he spent?”
Plenty of Forest supporters were quick to comment to the post and give their thoughts. Some fans suggested that Bony could be able to make an impact for the Reds in the Championship, while others insisted that the club would be better off signing someone else.

Here is a look at some of the best responses from Forest fans…
Damien Grattan: Ah buy someone good and let’s get promoted.
Tom Martin: Possibly. Would prefer that French guy though for six months then buy someone good if we go up.
Sam George: Nope would want massive wages and probs won’t be fit to play.
Jay Marriott: Sooner myself go up front and I’m 47.
David Chapman: Dwight Gayle, Ollie Watkins, Jarrod Bowen. Any of them.
Liam Hunt: Gotta be Gayle or someone who knows how to score goals in this league. Not just a one season wonder.
Zane Yaxley: He would do a job at our level tbh.
