Leonardo Ulloa is a man well and truly on the fringes at Leicester City.

With it being January, it is the perfect time for him to depart the King Power Stadium and start playing regular football again - and Leeds United could be the place.

Thomas Christiansen's Leeds side are in need of a new striker with Pierre-Michel Lasogga not really delivering the goods at present.

Ulloa could be a perfect option for the Whites to loan in for the second half of the season, and aid their push for promotion.

Should Leeds pursue a move for him? Would he be a good signing for the Yorkshire side?

We discuss.....

Sam Preston

He scores goals but I don't think he fits into their style of play.

Leeds have a mobile attacking unit, which often looks better on the break.

Ulloa is very much a target man and although Chris Wood is very similar and had great success at Leeds, he is more mobile. As a plan B, to get back into the game, Ulloa might be useful but Leeds would really only want to pay Premier League wages for a starter and he wouldn't be that.

Chris Gallagher

A massive upgrade on what they have.

Ulloa has proven himself to be a very capable Championship striker and is a good hold-up player as well as a goalscorer.

He would be an amazing signing for the Whites as they look to push on for the second half of the season.

George Dagless

It would be huge for Leeds' top six chances.

The Whites could do with another forward and getting Ulloa would be a real statement of intent.

I don't know how feasible the move is but if he is free they should try and make a move.

Luke Randall

I don't see it as a positive move for the Whites.

Having struggled to make it into the Leicester City side, his lack of game-time and ageing body won't be of any use, with similarities in his game to Lasogga.

Indeed, a player that doesn't particularly fit the fast, frantic Leeds way.

Alfie Burns

He’d be exactly the type of striker Leeds’ supporters would want to see at Elland Road this month.

Ulloa has experience in English football and is the household name that supporters want to see.

If Leeds can get hold of the Leicester City striker it would be some coup and would undoubtedly boost their promotion push.
