Leeds United are eyeing a swoop for Preston North End striker Jordan Hugill, according to Football Insider.

The 25-year-old is one of the Championship's most lethal forwards, and Thomas Christiansen has seemingly identified the player as someone who can bolster their promotion push.

Would he be a good signing for Leeds?

We discuss....

Alfie Burns

This would be a perfect fit, and for me, this is the deal Leeds need to prioritise this month.

Hugill has done well for Preston, and now is the time for him to take the next step in his career.

There would be pressure on the striker at Elland Road, but I think he could handle it and be a success in West Yorkshire.

Get it done Leeds.

George Dagless

He would be a class signing.

I'd imagine Preston want to keep Hugill to keep their attacking options as good as they are at the moment.

He'd be the leading light at Leeds you feel, though, and so could he really turn down that opportunity?

Luke Randall

A quality addition.

The Preston striker has proven goal-scoring quality at Championship level, a real powerhouse in the final-third.

Someone who Leeds United can really benefit from as their target man, adding a different dynamic to their game.

Sam Preston

I don't see a downside.

He works hard, scores goals in the Championship and looks like the kind of player Leeds fans would love.

Preston are flying so he might be hard to prise away but he is well worth pursuing.

At the right price, this is a deal Leeds should try very hard to get done.
