Birmingham City midfielder Odin Bailey has spent the large majority of the campaign out on loan at League Two outfit Forest Green Rovers as the 20-year-old seeks to get some much needed game time under his belt.

The wide player has made a total of five league appearances for the fourth division side, netting one goal and laying on one assist for his teammates in what has been a series of encouraging displays from the young Blues prospect.

Bailey originally broke into the Birmingham first team back at the start of the current campaign and to date has seven first team appearances to his name for his boyhood club as he seeks to impress out on loan before returning to St Andrew's this summer.

Given the impact that Bailey has made for Forest Green this term, we felt now was a good time for Football League World Journalist Chris Thorpe to ask members of the Birmingham City Fan Zone Facebook group if they think the winger could be a regular starter for the Blues next season, yielding several responses from supporters.

Here, we take a look at some of the best comments from fans in response to the question via social media.

Jack Duffy: If not a starter then put him on the bench, this kids got potential.

Greg Glaze: Nope.

Dan Dawson: Nope, not Championship quality yet.

Chris Rice: I like what I've seen of him so hopefully he will get more of a chance next season.

Mick Greaves: I would have him in the squad now rather than Montero.

Joshua Clarke: He will replace Maghoma.

Steven Terry: No.

Stuart King: No but once he's fit he will feature off the bench a lot. All he needs is a couple of goals off the bench and his confidence will go through the roof.
