Leeds United got back to winning ways on Saturday as they brushed aside Lee Johnson's Bristol City 3-0 at Ashton Gate.

A Samuel Saiz brace helped the Whites to three points, with on-loan striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga notching the other Leeds goal.

Was the Spaniard the standout player in the Championship on the weekend?

I'd give it to Samuel Saiz, he was absolutely class.

The attacking midfielder has been in superb form this season for Leeds United and was the leader of the pack when it came to playing against Bristol City on Saturday.

The Whites chalked up a much needed win and if things are to improve once more he's going to be key.

Most people would say Samuel Saiz, but I'll go for his teammate Ronaldo Vieira.

Leeds fans had called for the midfielder to return and he delivered when he got his chance. Bristol City manager Lee Johnson conceded that Vieira 'ran the show' and he really did excel.

The youngster added much more power and steel to the Whites midfield and whilst Saiz will deservedly get credit for the goals, the much-improved performance from Leeds was because of Vieira.

It has to go to Samuel Saiz, who inspired Leeds to a 3-0 victory over Bristol City.

When Saiz plays well, so do Leeds, and the 26-year-old’s early brace set Thomas Christiansen’s side up for a vital victory at Ashton Gate.

Where would Leeds be without Saiz? Nowhere near the top-six, he really is sensational.
