Amidst all the speculation regarding comings and goings at Elland Road, there is a player already at the club, who now fit again is pressing for involvement within Marcelo Bielsa's first-team match-day squad.

Chelsea loanee Izzy Brown signed on-loan in the summer carrying an injury and has been undergoing treatment ever since, but with the player now getting back to match fitness and playing for the Whites' U23's, he is now on the cusp of a call-up to Bielsa's first team squad.

So should Bielsa hand Izzy Brown some game-time from the bench versus Stoke at the weekend?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

“He surely has to.

“The lad has come through the Under 23 matches, he’s supremely talented and yet he’s still not got on the pitch.

“There’s a pressing need for him to get back as well.

“With Saiz gone, there’s never been a better time.”

Louie Chandler

"I think so.

"There is only so much he can gain from playing reserve matches and It would not be a bad idea at all to throw him in.

"If he can prove himself it will save Bielsa the trouble of having to bring in another winger as well."

Jay Taylor

“There is no harm in having him on the bench ready to use if needed.

“Playing players from the start after injury has been a trend for Bielsa and has backfired a few times having done so.

“Bringing Brown on from the bench could be a great weapon to have in his arsenal as they look to maintain their dominance at the top of the division.”
