West Bromwich Albion midfielder Rekeem Harper showed flashes of brilliance last season and his performances have caught the attention of a number of Europe's big guns this summer.

According to The Mirror, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are both interested in a move for the 19-year-old, with Juventus also understood to be chasing his signature.

Harper broke into the Baggies side after the turn of the year and put together a string of impressive performances in the second half of the season.

The teenager's current deal at the Hawthorns expires at the end of the month and a new contract has not yet been agreed. With Liverpool and Spurs circling, Harper may look to leave West Brom this summer but is now the right time for him to move to the Premier League?

We discuss...

Kealan Hughes

"It is very early in his career to be making such a big move, and he would definitely benefit from game time at a club where he is settled.

"It would be difficult to turn down an opportunity to join the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham but if he wants to develop into a top player he should stay at West Brom and learn from playing games.

"However, he only played 23 games last season so may feel he is not getting the opportunity he deserves currently, but with Bilic at the helm - a manager who gives young players opportunities - he could become an important player next season.

"If he improves at West Brom and does well the interest in him will remain. He is only 19 so there is a great chance he will play in the Premier League one day - but for now he should be patient."

Jacob Potter

"I think he should remain patient for now.

"Harper has only just burst onto the scene in the last couple of months and although he's been impressive, he shouldn't rush into a move to a Premier League club.

"If I were him, I would sign a new deal with West Brom, so that he can guarantee regular game time, before considering offers from elsewhere.

"Now isn't the time, and if he to move to the Premier League in the summer, I think he'd be harming his development as he wouldn't be getting the game time."

Toby Wilding

"I don't think so.

"It is worth remembering that the season before last, Harper was struggling to get game time at then League One Blackburn, and he has still only made a handful of appearances for West Brom during his time at The Hawthorns.

"Moving to the Premier League this summer would, therefore, be a huge step up for him, and one that he should be in no rush to make given he is still only a teenager.

"I certainly don't think he should be making the step up with the teams that are currently being linked with him, as I really can't see him getting many opportunities with a side like Liverpool or Tottenham anytime soon."
