Nottingham Forest manager Aitor Karanka needs to act quickly to get back to winning ways following his sides defeat to Norwich City at the weekend, ahead of the trip Bolton Wanderers on Wednesday night.

With midfielders Ben Watson and Jack Colback in particular coming in for criticism from fans on social media after the weekend defeat, the time could be right for Karanka to recall midfielder Adlene Guedioura to the Forest starting XI.

So should Karanka recall Guedioura against Bolton on Wednesday night?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

He adds a little bit more of a presence in the Forest midfield and has the vision to see forward passes that others don’t.

When he plays, the team look better for it.

Having lost at the weekend, Aitor Karanka will be looking to avoid back-to-back defeats and will probably make even more changes this week ahead of the Bolton game.

Jacob Potter

He should certainly be considered.

Guedioura has only made nine starts this season and after the questionable performances from the midfield pairing of Ben Watson and Jack Colback.

I can see him returning to the starting XI on Tuesday after the disappointing defeat that the Reds suffered against Norwich City at the weekend.

Gary Hutchinson

I think he needs more creativity in the middle of the park, certainly a little bit of something different to the weekend.

If that means Guedioura, brilliant.

If it means the Portugal boys back in abundance, that would work too.

Forest need to stay in touch at the top.

George Harbey

Absolutely.

They missed his tenaciousness and energy in midfield on Saturday - Watson and Colback looked far too laboured and slow.

He should 100% start.
