Sheffield Wednesday return to action following the international break with manager Jos Luhukay hoping his side can maintain the form that has seen them up to sixth in the Championship, ahead of their Friday night clash with in-form Middlesbrough.

As Luhukay considers whether to stick with the squad that has served him so well or look to tinker, the name of young midfielder Josh Onomah on loan from Spurs must be a name he is mulling over.

With two assists in four appearances, should Luhukay start Onomah against Boro on Friday night?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

Onomah hasn’t endured the most prolific of starts whilst out on loan at Sheffield Wednesday.

However, with two assists to his name in just four appearances for the Owls, Jos Luhukay should be starting the Spurs loanee.

His creativity in the midfield alongside Barry Bannan has been key in recent weeks and Onomah will be hopeful of continuing his run in the starting XI.

Gary Hutchinson

He should be in consideration, yes.

Wednesday have done well this season and they’ve done that by maintaining a degree of consistency, so chopping and changing a team isn’t what I expect them to do.

The lad is quality though isn’t he?

That means he has to be around the squad.

Jay Taylor

He needs to start.

Josh Onomah started in the win last time out at Bristol City.

So why change a winning side?

I would fully expect the Tottenham loanee to continue in his midfield role this weekend.
