Charlie Austin scored for the second consecutive game last night, as West Bromwich Albion returned to the top of the Championship table with a 4-1 win over Bristol City.

The 30-year-old scored his fourth goal for the Baggies just moments after coming off the bench, although it's fair to say that he's struggled to make the kind of impact that many West Brom fans were hoping for when he arrived at the club in the summer.

After joining from Southampton on transfer deadline day in August, Austin has scored just three goals in 13 Championship appearances for West Brom.

Hal Robson-Kanu has established himself as the Baggies' main striker in recent weeks and has now scored five goals in his last seven games - meaning that Austin has been demoted to the bench.

However, Austin has now scored two goals in his last two matches and his recent form has got West Brom fans talking on social media.

Baggies HQ asked West Brom fans on Twitter whether they think the striker can now go on a scoring run and many were quick to respond to the question.
