After a poor start things seem to be on the up at Hillsborough as Sheffield Wednesday look to challenge in the Championship under manager Jos Luhukay.

Currently young goalkeeper Cameron Dawson has got the nod from Luhukay and has started every Championship match so far this campaign.

Here our team give their thoughts on Dawson's season so far...

Gary Hutchinson

I’m not impressed.

He’s a young keeper and it’s been exciting for him to break through, but he’s not the sort of player Wednesday need to press on and climb the table.

They need someone to organise the defence and Dawson isn’t experienced enough right now.

He might be a decent keeper, but he needs lower league experience first.

George Dagless

Impressive enough.

Dawson was perhaps third choice not so long ago but he has worked his way up under Luhukay and now seems number 1.

The right to be the Owls' goalkeeper is perhaps the most hotly contested battle around and he has won it so far. Now he needs to add some clean sheets.

Jay Taylor

Average.

Sheffield Wednesday are yet to keep a clean sheet and that is something goalkeepers pride themselves on.

His performances have been far from spectacular but he has done well and is a good shot stopper.

HIs reflexes and shot stopping are a positive but he will want to get some clean sheets under his belt to get his confidence up.
