Leeds United lost control of their own destiny in the automatic promotion race in the Championship, after defeat to Birmingham City to a Che Adams goal on 28 minutes, was enough to hand the advantage to Sheffield United.

Adams popped up with a 'wonder goal' from the edge of the box to score his 22nd goal of the campaign, and ease the Blues' own relegation fears with the result leaving them five points above the drop zone.

So what did Bielsa get wrong against Birmingham on Saturday?

We discuss.........

Sam Rourke

"Roofe should have started.

"Bamford has clearly not been with it of late and he needed to change things up.

"Although, on the whole, the team selection was pretty much spot on and the Whites just didn't seem to turn up on the day.

"A bad day at the office."

"Hard to say.

"Birmingham did a great job, sometimes you end up second best in the Championship.

"The task now is for them to bounce back."

Gary Hutchinson

“I’m not sure he got it fundamentally wrong as such.

“They didn’t play well and Bamford looks low on confidence.

“Birmingham are a tough prospect though, without that points deduction they’d still be fighting for the top six.

“It was a huge shock in my book.”
