Sudanese striker Mo Eisa was given his chance by manager Lee Johnson, to shine against Plymouth in the week in the Carabao Cup.

Ahead of this weekend's match against Middlesbrough, has Eisa done enough to force himself into the reckoning for a Championship start?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

He has to be given a chance, he’s a special talent.

Eisa has a bit of everything, he’s a fox in the box with pace, but he’s strong too.

There’s no point in forking out the money if you’re not going to give him a shot.

They need a goal or two, so throw him in the deep in, see if he swims.

Jay Taylor

He must start.

When a new player joins after a successful season he has a certain amount of confidence.

Strikers need to find their feet and find form, so Lee Johnson should play the former Cheltenham man into form.

It shows the confidence the manager has in the forward if he is selected every week and that would hopefully boost Mohamed Eisa’s confidence to find his feet at Championship level.

Sam Rourke

Eisa needs regular game-time, so he should start.

The Robins are never going to get the promising striker up to speed if they don't consistently give him first-team minutes.

He needs to learn how to perform at a higher level, so Johnson should throw him in from the off.

George Dagless

Could be time.

Eisa has had to wait patiently for his chance but now is as good a time as any to be brought into the side.

He's a player I think will do well at this level so he should be introduced asap.
