‘He looks class’, ‘Sign him’ – Plenty of West Brom fans react to transfer links with defender

According to French media outlet L’Equipe, West Bromwich Albion are among a host of clubs interested in signing Saint-Etienne defender Harold Moukoudi.
The Baggies continue to lead the way in the Championship after an impressive campaign thus far, but they have won only one of their last eight matches.
Slaven Bilic’s side have conceded 31 goals in the Championship this season – out of all the sides in the play-off places, Preston North End are the only team to have conceded more than Albion with 34 goals.
Defensive reinforcements may well be made by Bilic this month, then, with the Baggies now being linked with the signing of Harold Moukoudi.
Moukoudi is currently attracting interest from a host of high-profile clubs, with Albion’s automatic promotion rivals, Leeds United, said to be interested in signing the central defender along with Derby and Stoke.

L’Equipe claim that Leeds, Derby, West Brom and Stoke are all looking to loan the defender, however Le Parisien claims that the French club value the player at a price of around £5m.
The 22-year-old is regarded as one of the most talented and up and coming defenders in Ligue 1, and has made a total of 15 appearances in all competitions this term.
The Cameroonian only arrived at Saint-Etienne in the summer, and still has another three-and-a-half years left to run on his contract.
Here, then, we take a look at West Brom fans’ reactions to this piece of transfer news…

Surprised we’re being linked to centrebacks. People may not be 100% convinced by all of ours but it’s certainly not the weakest position on the pitch and has a lot of depth
