Charlton Athletic central midfielder Jonny Williams is set to miss the next two months, manager Lee Bowyer has confirmed, and Addicks fans have been debating on Twitter to have their say on who should take his spot.

Some midfielders that could be set for more starts in Williams' absence could be Darren Pratley, Erhan Oztumer or George Lapslie, with Williams being a big miss for Charlton as the season's busiest period begins to approach with the festive games not far away.

Charlton's No.7 joined the Addicks in January, originally on loan from Crystal Palace, and he made 18 appearances in League One last season as Lee Bowyer's men won the Playoffs final to earn promotion to the Championship.

Williams then joined permanently in the summer and has currently made 12 appearances this campaign, but is yet to net a goal during his stay with Charlton thus far.

Charlton's midfield department was also hit hard last night in their 2-1 defeat away at Bristol City, with Sam Field being stretched off and Jake Forster-Caskey limping off in the first half to add to Charlton's injury woes.

Here, we round up the best suggestions from Charlton fans on who can take Williams' spot internally from within the squad...
