Out of all the sides battling at the top of the Championship table, Middlesbrough don't seem to be attracting much attention.

With Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United revolution underway, Darren Moore's dazzling West Brom attack and Chris Wilder continuing to upset the odds with Sheffield United, Tony Pulis's side have gone somewhat under the radar.

That is perhaps because they were the one side who were fully expected to be battling at the top of the division at the start of the season.

Their game has been built on a solid defence with Aden Flint, Daniel Ayala, Dael Fry and Ryan Shotton among those to impress immensely at the back this season.

But Pulis may be eyeing additions to improve his attack.

According to TeamTalk, Boro are one of a few Championship sides weighing up a January move for Portsmouth's impressive Irish forward Ronan Curtis.

Curtis only moved to Fratton Park in the summer, signing from Derry amd he has been in impressive form, scoring six goals and assisting five more in 12 League One games this season.

But would he be a good addition to Boro's squad?

We discuss...

Chris Gallagher

This would be a good signing.

Boro are lacking in attacking options after a tough summer and they need reinforcements desperately in January.

Curtis would provide them with real energy, pace and a direct threat which is what they are lacking at the minute. Sign him up!

George Harbey

Curtis is a fantastic player and could be a great signing for Boro, but I just can’t see it working out to be honest.

We’ve seen the likes of Marvin Johnson sign for Boro from League One side Oxford United, but the winger barely got a look-in and is now on loan at Sheffield United.

Curtis should look to stay at Pompey.

Jacob Potter

He isn't needed at Boro.

Tony Pulis already has a number of attacking options in his squad such as Britt Assombalonga, Martin Braithwaite and Jordan Hugill so Curtis wouldn't get a look in at Middlesbrough.

If he wants to further his development as a player, then he will steer clear of this move.
