Bailey Peacock-Farrell is somebody who will be looking to bounce back for Leeds United this season.

The youth graduate was dropped from the first team in January after the signing of Kiko Casilla, but after a host of errors from the Spaniard in the final weeks of the campaign, he will be hopeful of getting another chance.

But a new target emerged on Friday, which may be a concern to Peacock-Farrell, with the Irish Sun reporting that they are interested in taking Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers on loan.

Travers played in the Cherries final two matches of the Premier League season against Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace but is yet to be told of his ranking in the club's pecking order for next season so is considering asking for a loan move.

So, does this goalkeeper hunt suggest that Peacock-Farrell's chances of starting are now slim?

We discuss...

Jacob Potter

"It suggests he's on his way out.

"I'm surprised by Leeds wanting to sign Travers, as I think that BFP is a strong enough option to have between the sticks in Bielsa's side next season.

"But he's already voiced that he wants regular game time at Elland Road, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him heading for the exit door if Travers was to sign for the Whites."

Toby Wilding

"I don't think it does.

"You have to remember that Travers only made his senior debut at the end of last season, so he is one of the few 'keepers that Peacock-Farrell has more experience than, so he could be the one called upon first while Travers learns his trade and gains more experience as an alternative, possibly in the cup competitions.

"Whoever it is, this would be a very young goalkeeping line up for Leeds next season, and it would be interesting to see how they cope with the pressures of a promotion push."

Kealan Hughes

"It seems apparent that he is not part of Bielsa's plans.

"Last season the manager brought in Casilla in January which suggests that he didn't favour Peacock-Farrell, and the fact that a search for a keeper is continuing indicates that BPF likely won't get a look in next season.

"BPF will have to really impress in training to prove he is worthy of a first-team place. It is a surprise really as he mostly did well last campaign and is deserving of another chance."

Tommy Joyce

"With Casilla rumoured to be leaving the club and Peacock-Farrell stating he is not content sitting on the bench, the number 1 spot at Leeds is really up in the air.

"It's hard to tell how good Travers is at this moment in time because he has only played two games of professional football. They were in the Premier League, and he played well, but that's not enough to convince me that he is better than Peacock-Farrell.

"I think Bielsa's the type who will pick a player on merit and all players will have the opportunity to show themselves during training and the pre-season. Right now I would have more faith in Peacock-Farrell, however, that could well change if I saw the two in training next to each other."
