Macedonian international Ezgjan Alioski didn't train with his country yesterday, sparking fears he may be the latest in a long line of injury worries for Leeds United.

The absentee list at Leeds shows no sign of getting any shorter, with no fewer than seven players who would be around the first team picture currently out of action. Fears that the left-sided attacker is another are bound to worry fans and staff alike.

Alioski has been a regular for Bielsa this season, bagging three goals in 19 appearances as they've pushed towards the automatic promotion spots. They've had a great run, in spite of the fitness concern around their key men.

Is the Alioski news seriously concerning for them? Could his absence be the straw that breaks the camel's back?

Or will Marcelo Bielsa find another way, pull another ace from the youth team or find another formation that fits the players at his disposal?

Our FLW experts discuss.

He hasn’t put in the best of performance recently, but it’s still a big blow for Leeds if he’s injured for long.

Their squad has been depleted with injuries this season, which cannot be good at all for team cohesion and understanding.

Leeds fans will be praying that it isn’t for too long, as he is important for them.

Jacob Potter

I don't think it's a huge worry for Leeds fans.

Alioski has been singled out as one of the players that have struggled in recent weeks and a small spell out of the team could help his rediscover his best form.

With a busy festive period approaching, Bielsa will be hoping to see Alioski return to action to help aid his side's promotion bid this season.

Gary Hutchinson

There's been questions over his forward play recently anyway, so I can only see this as a problem in terms of numbers, not effectiveness.

There's options in the wide areas for Bielsa, if Alioski is injured, which we don't know for sure, then he'll surely be able to cover it,.

The good news is it isn't Liam Cooper with a strain, otherwise they'd have fewer centre backs than Aston Villa!
