Bristol City have strung together a run of five straight wins, that has seen Lee Johnson’s side jump up into the final play-off spot.
A player who has impressed at Ashton Gate this season is 24-year-old defender Adam Webster.
The former Ipswich man doesn’t receive the plaudits he perhaps deserve, so is it fair to say Webster is one of the most underrated players in the Championship?
“There’s a lot of underrated players, not just in the Championship but at Ashton Gate,
“He’s one that slipped under the radar, not only in terms of performance, but also in the window.
“Bristol City will prefer it that way too.”
“He’s definitely an underrated talent.
“A lot of his work goes unnoticed in the Robins team and he’ll be hoping to keep it that way going forward for the rest of the season.
“Webster will be crucial to Bristol City’s surprise play-off push.”
“There’s a few at Ashton Gate that go under the radar.
“Of course, Webster is one of those – I like what he brings to the side.
“Players come and go at Bristol City, but others always seem to step up.”
“He is a joy to watch.
“Bristol City aren’t a fashionable team compared to others in the division so he will fly under the radar.
“If Webster were at a team like Leeds or Aston Villa people would be waxing lyrical about him.
“Should he continue this form, he could well be at a club similar in stature, or better come the start of next season.”
