Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed that new goalkeeper Kiko Casilla will come straight into the starting XI for the fixture away at Rotherham this weekend, taking the number one jersey from Bailey Peacock-Farrell, as confirmed in the YEP.

BPF has been Bielsa's go-to man over the first half of the season, a situation that was compounded by the season ending injury to Chelsea loan keeper Jamal Blackman, leaving BPF as the only senior keeper at the club.

So with Casilla installed as Leeds number one, what now for BPF?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

“He’s their back up. That’s what’s next.

“He’s their number two, is that so bad?

“I know he’s had first team games but he’s young and still has a lot to learn.

“His needs are best served staying put and fighting for his place.”

Louie Chandler

"He will stay with he club.

"It is easy to forget that he has had an impressive season but the fact he is in one of the most highly pressured sides will not have helped his case.

"At 32, it is hard to tell how many more years Casilla has at his peak so he should stick around."

Jacob Potter

"He’ll have to remain patient.

"Bielsa didn’t completely rule him out of future games this season, so he’ll need to remain focused and patient until he is given another chance.

"If he doesn’t feature at all for the rest of the season, then I fear for his future at the club."

Jay Taylor

“He has to fight.

“And fight he will, Casilla coming in is a learning curve for the young goalkeeper who will have to do all he can to regain his place.

“Day to day he will have a former Real Madrid player of Casilla’s expertise to learn from, so this whole thing makes it a positive outcome in the grand scheme of things.”

Alfie Burns

“He’s got to continue to work hard and learn off his seniors.

“Casilla might be taking his place in the side, but he needs to look at the positives and learn from the 32-year-old.

“There’s a good goalkeeper in Peacock-Farrell, he’s just got to have the right attitude to bounce back from this.”
