Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has numerous decisions to make regarding his squad ahead of the next campaign, with the future of his players out-on-loan last season just one that requires his attention.

Mallik Wilks spent last season out on loan at Doncaster Rovers, scoring 14 goals and making eight assists in 48 league appearances for Grant McCann's side, in his third loan spell away from Elland Road since signing in 2016.

So would Leeds be wise to use Wilks as a squad player next season or look to loan him out again?

Kealan Hughes

"He definitely has a role to play at Leeds next season, and they could do with more strength in depth.

"He scored 16 goals last season on loan at Doncaster, and got eight assists. That suggests he is ready to be utilised in the Championship.

"Leeds however are aiming for promotion so it is unlikely he will feature from the start in most games, but he could be a valuable player off the bench."

Toby Wilding

"It could depend on their summer recruitment.

"If Leeds are able to bring in some fresh attacking faces who could help their promotion bid, then Wilks may find himself down the pecking order and better off getting game time on loan elsewhere.

"If not however, then you feel Wilks himself could be a decent alternative to Kemar Roofe on occasions."

Louie Chandler

"He has to be given a chance.

"He was outstanding for Doncaster last season in League One and has more than earned a shot in the Leeds first team.

"Maybe if he struggles in the first half of the season, look to loan him out in January."
