Youngster Joe Worrall is excelling north of the border having moved from Nottingham Forest in the summer, to join up with Steven Gerrard in Glasgow at Ibrox giant Rangers.

Worrall has worked his way into Gerrard's starting XI and former Nottingham Forest player Kenny Burns told the Daily Record he believes that Worrall is the best defender at Ibrox and that he could return to the City Ground to captain Aitor Karanka's side.

But if Worrall has such prospect, should Rangers look to make his move to Ibrox permanent?

We discuss.....

George Dagless

Yes.

He's a good young defender that has a bright future - what is there not to like?

If Forest cannot guarantee him minutes and Rangers can, the men from Ibrox could be in the pound seats for this deal.

Jacob Potter

The Nottingham Forest loanee will be pleased with his building game-time at Rangers as he has featured in five matches this season since his move.

He has the potential to be an excellent defender but will need consistent game time, so Rangers need to assure him of that.

Jay Taylor

It would make sense for all parties.

Joe Worrall hasn’t got a future at the City Ground with all their resources and options at the back and he is doing well for his loan side Rangers at present.

The defender is a vital part to Steve Gerrard’s team and an option to add the player permanently would be best for business.

It is something they should certainly look to get done.
