Since the start of the month, Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi has been linked with a couple of jobs away from the City Ground.

The Frenchman has enjoyed a hugely impressive tenure of Forest thus far, guiding the Reds to within touching distance of the Championship automatic promotion places.

He has quickly adapted to life in English football and the Championship really well, and is now being linked with a couple of jobs in the Premier League.

The Sun on Sunday (01/12, page 67) claimed that Wolves are interested in hiring Lamouchi if Nuno Espirito Santo leaves for Arsenal, whilst L'Equipe, via Nottinghamshire Live, also claimed that Watford have had an approach rebuffed by the 48-year-old.

Reacting to this latest speculation, our Forest fan pundit, Grant Brindley, spoke about the prospect of Lamouchi becoming a Premier League manager, saying: "He has a decent CV already and has managed some big players, especially whilst manager with the Ivory Coast.

"He would undoubtedly be keen to manage in the Premier League should the opportunity arise, but he looks like he is enjoying it being manager of us, and as mentioned previously, with a few quality additions it would be nice if he could achieve that whilst manager of us."

Lamouchi only signed a one-year deal with the Reds upon the arrival of the City Ground in the summer, with plenty of fans - particularly on social media- calling for the club to offer him a new deal.

The Frenchman has shown huge commitment to the club already, but anything can change in football, and if Forest miss out on promotion, it remains to be seen whether his stance changes or not.

Speaking about the prospect of losing Lamouchi in the future, Brindley said: "It would be a big blow to us, as he has had such a positive impact in his short time here.

"He is popular with the fans and looks to be building something with us, and with a few quality additions in January, we can definitely stay in the mix and have a real crack at promotion."
