Former West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has received a reaction from many Baggies fans over his latest comments regarding Charlie Austin and Kenneth Zohore.
Speaking on Sky Sports’ The Debate (12/02/2020, 10:15pm), Pulis revealed his opinion on Austin and Zohore, claiming both are under-performing this season.
West Brom currently sit top of the Championship table, having managed to create a six point gap between themselves and second placed Leeds United.
Slaven Bilic’s side have relied heavily on their whole squad for goals this term, seeing the likes of Matheus Pereira, Matt Phillips and Semi Ajayi all score, whilst the likes of Austin, Zohore and Hal Robson Kanu have contributed also.
The latter trio did, however, struggle over the festive period, coinciding with the Baggies run of seven games without a win.
Austin arrived at the Hawthorns from Premier League side Southampton last summer, whilst Zohore made the move from Cardiff City.

Former boss Pulis believes neither player has fully found their form this term, netting 11 goals between them this season.
One Baggies fan posted the comments from Pulis on Facebook fangroup West Brom News and Views, and asked: “Whenever has Pulis known anything about goalscorers?” – and his question gained quite the response.
John Whale: He only knows a target man and a goalkeeper. The rest are defenders.
Deano Bagley: He needs to give his head a wobble
Yamyams Bar: I agree with him, neither have justified there transfer fees
David Bowie: Pulis disappointed me many times
Ray Hill: He is right
Oscar Price: Austin underperformed? Melt
Brian Watkins: They both have never been given a run of games. Austin’s goals per minute played is better than Kanu
Jim Callaghan: He only had ex bus drivers, who knew how to park the bus.
Lee Price: Tony who
John Hickinbottom: He bought players in on loan that never played in the 1st team, so he has got no right to talk. Bit of envy perhaps
