Football League World's Queens Park Rangers fan pundit Louis Moir has heavily criticised the start that goalkeeper Joe Lumley has made to the season for the club, with the R's having so far failed to register a clean sheet this term.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper has played 12 games for the west London side so far, with many fans alluding to the mistakes that have been made by Lumley as the main reason behind why he should be dropped from his role.

His distribution has been questionable and there is clearly a lack of confidence being displayed by the player, who has had to compete with Liam Kelly for the number one spot at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

We caught up with Moir earlier today, who was quick to blast Lumley for his poor showings so far this term:

"He has been useless.

"Time and time again last season I was saying how poor of a keeper he is, and he keeps proving me right as his performances this season have been appalling.

"The number of mistakes that he has made including ones from last year are endless.

"He has cost us too many points in games this season.

"Every time Lumley receives the ball, he makes you a nervous wreck and his distribution is woeful.

"Lumley’s performance last night summed up his season so far and it was the worst display I have ever seen from a keeper."

Moir was then asked what he thought were Lumley's best qualities as a goalkeeper, to which the QPR fan replied:

"It is quite difficult to answer this with any positivity as Lumley possesses no standout attributes for a keeper.

"His best quality is taking the ball out of the net after gifting teams goals every week, he seems to do it so often!

"In all seriousness though, there are genuinely no qualities I could list about Joe Lumley, call me harsh but many others would agree, he is a League One keeper at best."

It is fair to say that time is up for Lumley from Moir's perspective and only time will tell how long Mark Warburton can keep his patience with the keeper, with the 24-year-old costing his side points, it seems there could soon be a change made between the sticks sooner rather than later.
