Leeds United will be looking to finish this period of games on a high before the international break comes into action next week.

Indeed, after that comes a busy period, comprising Christmas and the January window and the Whites need to be in better form if they are to challenge over that time.

For sure, then, the squad is going to be tested but one man probably still won't get a run out - Pawel Cibicki. So, how bad has he been? And is he the new Marcus Antonsson? We take a look...

It certainly looks that way.

Cibicki’s arrival has left Leeds United’s supporters scratching their heads, wondering why Radrizzani and Orta brought the striker to Elland Road, if he isn’t going to be anywhere near the first-team.

The striker’s situation looks a lot like the one Antonsson found himself in last season, and it will be interesting to see how his future at Elland Road plays out.

However, Leeds handed Cibicki a lengthy contract, so maybe it is too soon to write him off.

It's looking that way unfortunately.

The fact he can't get a game despite Leeds' struggles up front is not a good sign and he's 23-years old, so not an untested kid.

Of course, he needs time to settle and adapt to a new way of life, but his lack of game time has to be a concern. A new striker has to be on the agenda in January, so where does that leave Cibicki?

It's not looking good, is it?

Cibicki signed with the same kind of intrigue that some of the other relatively unknown names boasted during the summer but whilst they have paid off, his move has not.

He's not getting anywhere near the side, even though Leeds aren't flying right now, and I can't see how he will get into it anytime soon.

He has a lot of work to do.
