Pre-season favourites Stoke City have endured a rotten start to the Championship season, finally getting a win under their belts on the weekend, having had only two points to show for their opening four fixtures.

The Potters manager Gary Rowett has finally got his stuttering stars firing, as he plots a route up the table to challenge the early season pace-setters.

But what has been the best decision Stoke City have made in the last three months?

We discuss.....

Christian Fuller

The signing of James McClean.

The winger, whilst yet to show his full potential so far this season, is a terrific signing for the Potters.

Gary Rowett’s side have struggled so far this season at times, but the wide man is a very talented player that could easily still be playing at Premier League level.

Jay Taylor

I am not too sure what the best decision has been at Stoke this summer, in all honesty.

The club have finally got off the mark after their 2-0 win over Hull City last Saturday, but before then it has been a pretty poor start to the season.

If I had to be pressed into picking their best decision of the summer, it would probably be the signing of Benik Afobe.

His they can provide him with the ammunition, and he can find his form, the striker is virtually unplayable at this level.

Chris Gallagher

Sacking Paul Lambert, he had to go.

The Scot only had a short spell at the club that resulted in relegation so it was unclear whether he would leave.

However, he has struggled at his last few jobs and was very lucky to get the job with the Potters.

Thankfully for Stoke fans though, the board went for Gary Rowett and whilst the early signs aren't positive, he will prove to be a much better choice than the former Aston Villa boss.

Lee Connor

Although it looks like a poor start for Stoke, it has be hiring Gary Rowett for me.

I think he will get it right, and with the amount of backing he has had, I think it's only a matter of time before things start going well for the Potters.
