Bournemouth bounced back from their midweek defeat by comfortably beating Birmingham on Saturday to ensure they'll spent the international break inside the top-six.

The Cherries saw their unbeaten record come to a disappointing end at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday, but Jason Tindall's men never looked in any danger from the moment Arnaut Danjuma swept his side into a 9th-minute lead at St Andrew's.

From then on in, it was about all the quality of David Brooks.

Subject of interest from a number of Premier League outfits during the summer transfer window, the Welshman has endured a tricky start to the campaign, but marked just his third appearance of the season with a match-winning performance.

Firstly, Brooks doubled Bournemouth's advantage three minutes before the interval, courtesy of a fortunate deflection, although there was nothing lucky about his second.

Having seen Dominic Solanke strike the post just five minutes after the break, the 23-year-old found himself in the right place to finish with aplomb from the rebound for his first goals since netting a late consolation in a Premier League defeat at Manchester City post-lockdown.

Cherries fans were delighted with Brooks' return to form, and we've been looking at how they've been reacting to his two-goal display on Twitter.
