We discuss.....

Louie Chandler

"I think so.

"Being sent to Leeds at that time was never going to be helpful for any youngster and I imagine Swansea regret it.

"He has come on impressively since then though."

Gary Hutchinson

“I hope so, he was poor there!

“If they did see the best of him then he shouldn’t be where he is now.

“Seriously, they didn’t get the real Matt Grimes.

“It’s a shame, he could have been a big hit there.”

Jay Taylor

“Players tend to say things like that when it doesn’t work out at a former club.

“Albeit his stay at Elland Road was temporary, and he was younger, he could well have a point.

“Progressing in your career is imperative, and of course he is going to improve with games so what Leeds saw was a prototype if you will.

“He’s certainly better than when he was at United.”
