West Brom manager Slaven Bilic is looking to add to his squad before the transfer window closes, with the Baggies considering a move for Watford midfielder Domingos Quina, according to a report by The Athletic.

Quina, 20, is formerly of West Ham where he worked with the Bilic.

Albion are keen to take the exciting youngster, as they look to get their automatic promotion challenge back on track after a rocky couple of weeks.

So would Quina be a good addition at the Hawthorns and is he actually needed?

We discuss.........

Chris Gallagher

"He's certainly a very good player and he could be an astute signing.

"Some may feel that he isn't needed at The Hawthorns and that's understandable as Albion are now packed with quality in midfield and the final third.

"However, it's important to add depth and what makes Quina an attractive option is his versatility.

"He could play across the midfield, as a deep playmaker if required and obviously in a more advanced role. That's crucial over the coming months and he certainly has the technique and quality to thrive in the Championship, whilst he will be working under Bilic, a manager he knows very well."

"Quina is a real talent who deserves regular game time and a chance to showcase what he is all about, and playing under Bilic for the second-half of this season could be beneficial for him.

"It hasn't quite worked out for him since moving to Watford but he has impressed whenever he's played and he just needs that further experience of first-team football in the Championship to progress.

"Whether he is needed, though, is a different question altogether. Matheus Pereira is thriving in that number 10 role and is arguably one of the best in that division in that position.

"Quina does need to move away from Vicarage Road this month, but whether West Brom is the right move for him in terms of game time is another question and a different issue for him to consider."

Josh Cole

“If West Brom can get a deal over the line for Quina today, he may turn to be an exciting addition to their squad.

“Although the midfielder has yet to produce the goods on a consistent basis in the Premier League, a drop down in level may be exactly what he needs at this stage of his fledgling career.

“Limited to just eight appearances this season for Watford, Quina will be hoping that a potential move to West Brom will give him the chance to play regular first-team football.

“However, providing that the 20-year-old does make the move to the Hawthorns, he will have to fight off competition from the likes of Matheus Pereira and Filip Krovinovic for a place in Bilic’s starting eleven which may be a difficult challenge to overcome.”
