‘He could be a star’ – Many West Brom fans getting excited about one particular player

Many West Bromwich Albion fans have reacted to the performance of Rekeem Harper against Preston North End on Tuesday evening.
Tuesday’s game at the Hawthorns saw West Brom looking to go seven points ahead of second placed Leeds United, who face Middlesbrough on Wednesday evening.
A 2-0 win ensured that the Baggies maintained their grip on top spot with goals coming from Hal Robson-Kanu and Jake Livemore.
Preston arrived in the Midlands looking to keep up with the play-off placed sides, but they allowed Welsh international Robson-Kanu too much space after just six minutes and the striker finished well to fire the home side into the lead.
A second goal of the game proved vital for the home side and it was captain Livermore who struck just before the half time interval.

A late sending off for Darnell Fisher finished off the action as Slaven Bilic’s side stretched their side to six games unbeaten.
Following the game, Baggies fans looked into the performance of youngster Rekeem Harper, who replaced Sawyers – who was ruled out through suspension.
Harper was making only his fifth appearance, playing alongside captain Livermore in the holding midfield roles.
Below are just some of the opinions shared on the 19-year-old’s showing:
Brilliant performance from everyone. Livermore is a man possessed at the moment. Ajayi superb at the back. Harper was my my MOTM to come in the side for his first start and put in a performance like that 👏 #wba #WBAPNE #WBAPRE

Have I really seen criticism of Harper’s performance last night? Wow, I thought he was superb, made himself available at all times, wanted the ball, and that headed clearance in the second half to keep it 2-0 was crucial. #wba
