Norwich City are reportedly looking to raid the Bundesliga once again, with midfielder Kingsley Schindler of Holstein Kiel linked with a move to Carrow Road, as reported in the Eastern Daily Press.

In 2017/18, Norwich recruited heavily from the Bundesliga second tier and it seems that Norwich are once again hoping to do a bit of business before the transfer window shuts.

So would a move for Holstein Kiel's star man be good business for Norwich?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

It’s hard to say.

He’s from the German second division and it all has a bit of the ‘Ekuban’ ring to it.

I appreciate he’s a midfielder, but the concept is the same. Unproven player swaps one second-tier for another.

Can he settle? That is perhaps more important than asking if he is good enough.

George Dagless

He could be.

He should bring energy and strength into the middle of the park and that's always good in the Championship.

He certainly seems a Farke signing, so let's see how he does.

Jay Williams

Schindler will be a player that Daniel Farke has an in-depth knowledge of.

With the 2. Bundesliga a common place for Norwich to do their shopping, it is just a case of whether he can adapt to life in England.

Schindler has a pretty impressive goal scoring record in the second tier in Germany but that does not necessarily mean success in the Championship.

Jay Taylor

The midfielder had a fantastic season last year with current club Holstein Kiel, scoring 14 goals in 37 appearances and starting this campaign in strong fashion too.

Daniel Farke will know about him being German and having contacts in the Bundesliga and beyond in the German leagues.

Norwich lack a man in the middle with bite and goals with Wes Hoolahan going and James Maddison moving to Leicester.

Unproven in the Championship, but he could be someone who adds that the Canaries are missing.
