‘He can continue to wait’ – Sunderland fans react to latest striker update

There has been a little bit of positivity surrounding Sunderland this week, after Chris Coleman masterminded the club’s second victory of the Sky Bet Championship season last weekend against Burton Albion.  

Late goals from James Vaughan and George Honeyman secured all three points for Sunderland, who moved within two points of safety.

However, Coleman’s side still find themselves fighting against relegation this season, with the Black Cats consistently struggling to put results together all season.

One shining light for Sunderland this season has been Lewis Grabban, the on-loan AFC Bournemouth striker, who has scored 10 goals in just 15 Championship appearances.

However, this week Grabban has been linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Any deal would take place between his parent-club, Bournemouth, and any potential buyer, and when questioned about Grabban, Eddie Howe, Bournemouth’s manager, insisted that the Premier League club would “wait and see” whether to recall the 29-year-old.
