A number of Ipswich Town supporters have been reacting to the latest report from the East Anglian Daily Times that Paul Cook has informed the majority of his current squad that they can leave this summer.

The Tractor Boys endured a poor ending to the campaign under Cook and the Ipswich boss has already started to take a ruthless approach towards his plans to improve things for next season. The likes of Cole Skuse, Alan Judge, Stephen Ward, Freddie Sears and Emyr Huws are amongst the eight players who have already been released by the club.

It is now being reported that Cook has informed homegrown talents like Flynn Downes, Andre Dozzell, Luke Woolfenden, Jack Lankester and Armando Dobra that they can find new clubs during the summer transfer window as well. That comes despite them being contracted to the club and some having deals lasting for extended periods.

In addition, the likes of Teddy Bishop, Myles Kenlock and goalkeepers Tomas Holy and David Cornell have also been informed they can move on from Portman Road. While Kayden Jackson and Toto Nsiala are both going to be made available for transfer even though options were only just recently taken up on their deals.

Some Ipswich fans were left surprised by this latest report and concerned over these plans, while others think that a rebuild is something that does need to happen and they are prepared to support this approach.
