Leeds United will be unveiling a new club crest in the coming months which will tie in with the club's centenary year.

As many will remember, the Whites were ridiculed across the football world after their first design was revealed in January last year.

The club claimed to have consulted 10,000 fans for the idea, which included the 'Leeds salute', but they were forced into a re-think after the reaction, with many even signing a petition demanding it was change.

Following that, they confirmed the new crest wouldn't be used until the start of the 2019/20 campaign, which is their 100th year.

Obviously, that is fast approaching and the club may have given a glimpse as to what the new badge will look like.

It was spotted at the top of an article posted on the website that detailed the season ticket prices for next season, with fans speculating about the badge on social media.

As you can see, it's similar to the current badge and clearly refers to the centenary season, which Leeds will hope to celebrate in the Premier League.

The Verdict

It's an exciting time to be a Leeds fan now and supporters will be looking forward to seeing the new design in what is an important year for the club.

There will be a lot of attention on the new crest after the last one but it surely can't be worse!

Whether it's the design on the website now remains to be seen but it will interest fans.
