Oli McBurnie continued his sparkling form from the end of last season with Barnsley at the start of this campaign with his parent club.

The 22-year-old scored nine goals in 17 appearances in the Championship for the Tykes in the second half of last season and has carried that form on, scoring three goals in his first four league matches.

Two of those came on Tuesday night as the Swans drew 2-2 with Marcelo Bielsa’s flying Leeds United side at the Liberty Stadium.

The Scot’s goals twice gave the home side the lead only to be pegged back by Kemar Roofe and Pablo Hernandez each time.

His first goal came at the end of a lovely flowing move between Barrie McKay and Bersant Celina and his second was a brilliant looping header from a Martin Olsson cross.

After taking to Twitter to express his disappointment at not winning the match but thanking the fans for their support as well, the striker was inundated with love from his fans.

Here is a selection of their best reactions to McBurnie’s performance…
