Nottingham Forest's brief revival under the management of Chris Hughton came to an end, as they were beaten. 2-0 by AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday evening.

The Reds came into the game with confidence after winning their last two matches, but the Cherries were in impressive form of their own.

Junior Stanislas have Jason Tindall's side an early lead on the night, before the midfielder doubled their lead from the penalty spot in the second-half to give the Cherries much-needed breathing space.

One Nottingham Forest player that didn't start in the game was Anthony Knockaert, with the winger coming on as a second-half substitute as the Reds tried to get back into the match.

But the Frenchman certainly made a positive impact for Chris Hughton's men, and caused Bournemouth problems in defence, even though Forest were unable to find the back of the net.

Plenty of the City Ground faithful took to social media to issue their thoughts on Knockaert's performance, and were keen to see him start in their next match against Swansea City this weekend.
