Chris Wilder got the response he was looking for from his Sheffield United side last night, as they picked up three points against Reading to move back into the Sky Bet Championship’s top-six.

A 3-1 victory secured the points at the Madejski Stadium, with the Blades moving back up the table and leaving Reading in danger of slipping into the Championship’s relegation fight.

Billy Sharp scored twice for Wilder’s side, with the Sheffield United skipper setting the example to lead his side to victory.

Wilder’s captain was supported by the likes of Mark Duffy, who made an excellent impact on his return to the starting XI.

The 32-year-old scored Sheffield United’s second, with his performance on the whole proving to Wilder that he could be key for the Blades during the run-in.
