‘Has to go’, ‘Overrated’ – Many Derby County fans rip into player following Middlesbrough defeat

Derby County stumbled to yet another defeat on Wednesday night, with the Rams losing 3-0 to Middlesbrough at the Riverside.
The Rams are currently in dire straits, and will have been looking to put Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Bristol City as quickly as possible.
Tonight, they came up against another promotion contender in Middlesbrough, with Neil Warnock’s side easing their way towards a 3-0 win.
Britt Assombalonga opened the scoring in the first-half, then two second-half goals in quick succession – a Matt Clarke own-goal and a Marvin Johnson strike – sealed a 3-0 win.
It was a disappointing night’s work for Tom Lawrence, with the winger producing a below-par performance for the Rams.
It was Lawrence who gifted Boro possession as they took the lead in the first-half. The Welshman gave the ball away in a dangerous area of the pitch, and his side failed to defend the attack.
Lawrence showed his frustrations when he was also shown a yellow card in the second-half for an off-the-ball incident with Jonny Howson, before being taken off on 75 minutes.
Here, we take a look at Derby fans’ reactions to Lawrence’s display on Wednesday night…
Lawrence is a one in six player. Just not consistent enough

I don't want to see Lawrence in a #dcfc shirt again.

Some things never change. Tom Lawrence is set to continue his trend of getting booked more than goals scored at #dcfc I forgive everything I ever said about Tom Ince being petulance.

Get Lawrence out this club. #dcfc

Tom Lawrence – a lightweight, ineffective, over-rated and effortless waste of a true players spot #DCFC

Lawrence hasn't been his best recently, but he hasn't a clue what to do down that right-hand side. #dcfc #dcfcfans

Been a passenger. Our front players are lacking any desire to try and score goals. Time to start fining them for lack of interest.
