Ipswich failed to score or win for a third game in succession following their goalless draw with Oxford United on Tuesday.

Paul Lambert would have been desperate for a reaction from his side after their home defeats to both Hull City and Charlton in recent days, but the Tractor Boys managed just one shot on target throughout the 90 minutes at the Kassam Stadium - which came in the closing stages.

The point was enough to keep Ipswich sitting 5th in the League One standings, but they're now three adrift of the top-two places - which could increase later this evening, with a host of their promotion rivals in action.

Quiz: Which club did Ipswich Town sign each of these 25 players from?

Ipswich endured a similar run of form last season when Lambert's men went from four points clear at the top of the League One standings, to finishing 11th-place following the suspension amid the Coronavirus.

It means that the Portman Road outfit have now won just 12 of their previous 36 League One games - which has prompted a major reaction from the Tractor Boys faithful towards Lambert.
