Stoke City fell to yet another Championship defeat as they lost out to Bristol City at home.

Despite putting in one of their better performances of the season, the Potters ultimately chucked away a lead as a red car for Joe Allen played a big part in letting Lee Johnson's men back into the game.

Sam Clucas had fired Jones' men into the lead after only five minutes before Welsh international Allen saw red less than ten minutes later.

The difference ultimately told in the end too as the Robins bagged twice in the second half to head back to Bristol with a valuable three points.

Stoke meanwhile, sit bottom of the table after putting only one point on the board so far this term to follow on from their poor season last time out as they struggled to make an impact following relegation from the Premier League.
