The future of Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack remains up in the air, with the 30-year-old clearly not part of Steve Bruce's plans at Villa Park this season.

The Scottish forward undoubtedly has ability and has proven himself in the Championship season after season, but ever since his switch from Fulham to Aston Villa in 2016, his career has declined dramatically.

McCormack urgently needs to find a new club to help revitalise and rejuvenate his stagnating career, and there will surely be many Championship clubs keen to secure the signature of the striker before the transfer window slams shut on August 31st.

A handful of clubs have been linked with a move for the attacker this window, with former employers Leeds United linked with a reunion with the player.
