Ryan Edmondson has once again got himself onto the scoresheet for Leeds United this afternoon, opening the scoring for the under-23s against Barnsley.
Leeds fans have been impressed with the 18-year-old striker over the last 18 months, with Edmondson touching 20 goals last season for the under-23s and help them to the PDL-National League Title.
Yet, he’s only been handed two appearances in the Championship, with just one of those coming under current boss, Marcelo Bielsa.
That was in the defeat to Birmingham City last season, with many Leeds fans now craving more from Edmondson as the first-team struggle to hit their straps in-front of goal.

And, after footage emerged from @LUFC of Edmondson converting the opening goal against Barnsley this afternoon, there were plenty of calls for the teenager to be given at least a place on the bench under Bielsa.
Here, we take a look at some of that reaction…
Get this man on the bench at least 😩👀

Look forward to when we start to use Edmondson, last year scored for fun and this year still doing the business. Will be a great career for him, just knows where the net is
