‘Has a chance’, ‘Thread bare’ – Plenty of Sheffield Wednesday fans react to team announcement v Exeter City

Sheffield Wednesday will be hoping they can pick up a win to progress to the next round of the FA Cup on Saturday. 

The Owls take on League Two side Exeter City, in what could potentially be a tricky test for the Championship side at St James Park.

They’re still without a permanent manager following Tony Pulis’ dismissal, but have shown much-needed improvement in their results in recent weeks.

Sheffield Wednesday have announced their team for the game against Exeter City, with a number of changes being made to the side that beat Derby County 1-0 in their most recent match on New Year’s Day.

Due to the off-the-field crisis, Sheffield Wednesday have only been able to name four substitutes for this one, and they’ll be hoping that they can stay injury-free, with a busy schedule coming up in the Championship.
